THE BIBLE COLLECTIVE is a community of people who have a hunger to grow in the knowledge and understanding of full counsel God’s word and live out the power of the Gospel message of Jesus Christ. We are unified in our pursuit of learning God’s word and letting the Holy Spirit transform us and live it out in our lives. The Bible Collective is a growing ministry and resource that is dedicated to equipping the people of God in the work of ministry through the power of the Word of God.

Benjamin Shafer serves as facilitator and curator behind this ministry, but many others serve as the source of insight and discernment as this community grows.

LATEST TEACHING SERIES

12 years after Jesus Christ’s death and resurrection the very first New Testament writing was written by Jesus’ brother James. Jame’s letter to the church is rich with encouragement and exhortation. The original audience and recipient of this letter were Jewish believers, however, you will find the material in this letter and what he has to teach us today still timeless and timely. James teaches followers of Christ what to do when faced with trials of all kinds and how not just know God’s word, but live it out. There are topics of money, favoritism, and sanctification. In this letter, there is practically NO Christian doctrine taught… but instead within its only five chapters, James outlines five very practical points of the consequences of faith as it plays out in our everyday lives.
